Chairman of the Board of Directors
Mr. Dang Khac Vy is one of the founder members of Vietnam International Bank (VIB). Mr. Vy was elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors from 16 September 2013 and continued to be elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors (BOD) of term IX (2023 - 2027). Previously, Mr. Vy had been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of VIB from Terms I to VIII.
He is now also Chairman of Mareven Food Holdings – a large company of overseas Vietnamese people, with its products distributed in more than 25 countries throughout Europe and some countries in Asia.
Mr. Dang Khac Vy holds a Doctor of Economics and has many years of work experience in different countries in the world such as the F.R. Russia, Singapore, etc.
Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors
Mr. Dang Van Son continued to be elected by VIB’s General Shareholders (GSM) in 2023 to serve on the Board of Directors (BOD) for the Term IX (2023 - 2027). Previously, Mr. Son had been elected to the Board in early 2007.
Prior to joining the BOD, Mr. Son had worked in the Russian Federation and other organizations in Vietnam for many years in the roles of the Chairman of ValMa-M Company, CEO of Huong Dien Hydropower JSC, and Chairman of International System Trading and Investment JSC.
Mr. Son obtained a Bachelor of Economics in the Russian Federation and completed Senior Management Program of the American Association of Information Technology and Management.

Mr. Do Xuan Hoang has been a member Director of the BOD consecutively since 2005. He was the BOD’s Vice Chairman in 2007. Mr. Hoang is currently CEO of Mareven Food Central, a Vietnamese - Japanese joint venture, a leading investment company in FMCG in the Russian Federation and the CIS region.
Aside from the private sector, he also takes active part in community building activities. He is a founding member and Chairman of the Overseas Vietnamese Association in the Russian Federation, member of the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front, Terms VI, VII, VIII.
He received his Bachelor in 1991 in the former Soviet Union, and became a Doctor of Economics from Russian Academy of Sciences in 1998.

Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Han Ngoc Vu joined VIB as its CEO in late 2006 and held the post to 2008. In 2008, Mr. Vu was elected by the GSM to be Director of the BOD for term V, and was elected by the BOD to be its Chairman from 2008 to 2013. 2013 GSM continued to elect Mr. Vu as member Director of the BOD for term VI. In the same year, Mr. Vu was elected to the post of CEO by the BOD and kept the position until now. Mr. Vu continued to be elected to the BOD by the 2023 GSM.
Mr. Vu has nearly 35 years of experience in finance-banking sector, with vast experience in leading international banks in the world.
Mr. Vu has held many key roles in Vietnamese and international commercial banks, including Chief Executive Officer of Vietnam International Bank (VIB), Country Head of Corporate Banking of Citibank Vietnam cum Hanoi Branch Manager of Citibank, Country Sales Manager cum HCMC Branch Manager of Credit Lyonnais Vietnam, and Hanoi Branch Manager of Calyon Bank.
Mr. Vu obtained a Master of Business Administration from Solvay Business School – Belgium, and Bachelor degrees from Metropolitan Business College – Australia and the Institute of International Relations – Vietnam. He also completed professional training courses in Leadership from Harvard Business School and Citigroup; in Risk Management, Commercial Banking, Financial Analysis, Project Finance, Trade Finance from Citigroup and Credit Lyonnais.
Independent Member of the Board of Directors
Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Hanh was elected by 2023 GSM to be an independent member of the BOD Term IX (2023 – 2027).
Ms. Hanh has nearly 30 years of experience in business, banking and finance. Currently, Ms. Hanh holds various key management positions in companies including BOD Chairwoman at Asia Energy JSC and Thien Duc JSC.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Hanh held a Bachelor in Foreign language from Vietnam National University, Hanoi – University of Languages & International Studies and Postgraduate certificate in Business from Swinburne University of Technology.

Mr. Han Ngoc Vu joined VIB as its CEO in late 2006 and held the post to 2008. Mr. Tran Nhat Minh was elected to Deputy CEO cum Head of Banking Technology Services cum Head of Digital Banking in April, 2024. Previously, he was in charge of business technology & operations and digital banking of VIB.
Mr. Minh has held many roles such as Deputy CEO, CEO at different companies in the Russian Federation, including ProfInvest Co. Ltd, FG Group Co. Ltd, and ZAO “DHV-S” JSC. Most recently he was Managing Director of Mareven Food Central Co. - a company among the top 200 largest private companies in the Russian Federation according to Forbes. Mr. Tran Nhat Minh used to be elected by the 2013 GSM to be Director of the BOD for term VI (2013– 2016).
Mr. Minh graduated from Moscow University of Energy and obtained a Doctor of Science and Technology from Moscow University of Telecommunications and Informatics and a Master of Business Administration from the International Institute of Management LINK, Russia.
Deputy CEO cum Head of General Counsel
Mr. An Thanh Son is a Lawyer with over 25 years of experience in finance - banking sector. He was elected to Deputy CEO cum Head of General Counsel in August 2013.
During his over 15 years working at VIB, Mr. Son held a range of positions, such as: Director of the BOD, CEO, Permanent Deputy CEO, Head of Branch and Services, Assistant to the CEO, Chair of VIBAMC. Before joining VIB, he had had 10 years working for Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank through different roles, such as: Chief of staff, Head of Organization and Personnel, and Marketing officer.
He obtained a Master of International Business Administration, a Bachelor of Economic Law from Hanoi Law University, and Engineer of Marine Transportation Economics from Maritime University of Vietnam.

Mr Ho Van Long has more than 20 years of diversified experience at various multinational companies and financial service firms. Mr. Long joined VIB since 2008 and has taken various leading roles in the organization such as Deputy CEO, CFO, Head of Retail Banking division and Head of Corporate Transformation Center.
Prior to joining VIB, Mr. Long held various managerial and professional positions in large corporations such as senior auditor at Ernst & Young Vietnam, Project Manager of Project MIS & ABC cum Assistant to CEO at Techcombank and Financial Accounting Manager at Asia Pacific Breweries (Heineken Group).
Mr. Long graduated from Academy of Finance with an economic degree. Mr. Long is a fellow member of ACCA (UK Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) since 2003.
Chief Accountant
Ms. Pham Thi Minh Hue has joined VIB since 2005 and been appointed to the role of Chief Accountant of VIB since March 21, 2019.
During more than 16 years working at VIB, Ms. Hue has held the positions, namely Deputy Head of Finance Services division; Head of Accounting center; Head of Finance analysis department.
Ms. Hue holds a bachelor degree of Banking audit from Banking Academy and obtains a Chief Accountant certificate from Academy of Finance.

Head of the Supervisory Board
Ms. Nguyen Thuy Linh was elected as Head of the Supervisory Board, Term IX (2023 – 2027). Previously, Ms. Linh had many years working and contributing to VIB’s development through various positions, such as Head of the Supervisory Board term VIII (2019 – 2023), Investor Relations Manager cum BOD Assistant; Senior Assistant to CEO cum Investor Relation Team leader; Deputy Head of HR Services Department cum Employee Relation Team Leader, HR Services Department.
Ms. Linh obtained a Bachelor degree in Banking & Finance from National Economics University and a Bachelor degree in Technology Information & Business Administration from Genetic Computer School, Singapore. She also completed professional training courses in Internal Audit, General Accounting from National Economics University - Vietnam and Credit Skills from Omega Performance Corporation.
Member of the Supervisory Board
Ms. Nguyen Luong Thi Bich Thuy continued to be elected as member of the Supervisory Board Term IX (2023 - 2027) by 2023 GSM. Previously, Ms. Thuy was a member of the Supervisory Board from Term VI to Term VIII.
Ms. Thuy officially joined VIB in 2004. She has more than 20 years of experience in business, banking and finance and held key positions, such as: Head of Internal Audit Department – Southern Region at VIB; Audit and Debt Collection at Sacombank.
Ms. Thuy held a Bachelor in Business Administration from University of Economics HCMC (UEH), and a Bachelor in Commercial Law from HCMC University of Law (ULAW).
Member of the Supervisory Board
Mr. Dao Quang Ngoc was elected by 2023 GSM to be Member of the Supervisory Board Term IX (2023 - 2027).
Mr. Ngoc has 11 years of experience in auditing field in large Vietnamese and international banks and accounting firms, such as Ernst & Young, Vietinbank. Prior to joining the Supervisory Board, he held the position of Team leader – IT Auditing and Remote Monitoring, Internal Audit Center at VIB.
Mr. Ngoc obtained a Bachelor of Economic Informatics and a Master of Business Administration from National Economics University (Vietnam).
