Outstanding Students Granted With Scholarships Worth 180 Million Dong by VIB

Vietnam International Bank (VIB) has recently granted 6 outstanding students studying at HCMC Economics University and HCMC Banking University with scholarships worth 60 million dong (10 million dong for each student).

Previously, at the Academy of Banking in Hanoi, VIB offered outstanding third and fourth year students 30 scholarships worth 120 million dong.

Ms. Duong Thi Mai Hoa said: This gift, which is both materially and spiritually valuable, will act as a source of encouragement for the students to enter a new school year with higher achievements.

This is one of VIB’s practical actions on the occasion of the bank’s 15th anniversary of establishment (September 1996 – September 2011).

Beside business operations, VIB always pays due attention to social activities and considers the 3 E’s policy, including education, environment and enrichment, one of the key activities to represent its commitment to always accompany with and work for the sake of the community.
