2. Insurance benefits and maximum compensation limit

International and Domestic Flight Delay Benefits

The insured incidents Compensation limit

The Insured Person's  flight is officially delayed by the airline, and the IP, as a passenger, has completed check-in and is present at the airport due to the following reasons:

  • Adverse weather conditions
  • Mechanical issues with the aircraft
  • Strikes or other actions by airline staff or airport personnel that obstruct departure

2 million VND per 3-hour delay
Up to 10 million VND per year

Delayed Baggage Benefits

If the Insured Person’s baggage arrives more than 6 hours later than scheduled due to the carrier’s fault, the Insurance Company will compensate for every continuous 6-hour delay, up to the maximum insured amount specified in the Insurance Certificate.

This benefit applies only to international trips

Lost or Damaged Baggage Benefits

The insured incidents  Compensation limit

The Insured Person’s aggage and/or personal belongings inside the baggage are lost or damaged due to one of the following incidents while traveling:

  • Negligence by hotel staff or the carrier after the Insured Person has checked in the baggage, and the staff has accepted responsibility for its safekeeping;
  • Theft with evidence of forced entry into the hotel room where the IP is registered as a guest;
  • Confiscation, threats, or violent attacks leading to the loss of baggage and/or personal belongings.

This benefit applies only to international trips and excludes goods that are not defined as travel baggage.

Hospitalization Allowance for Illness or Disease

The insurance applies when the Insured Person is required to be hospitalized for inpatient treatment at a hospital or medical facility abroad due to an accident causing bodily injury or an illness occurring while traveling overseas 200,000 VND per day

3. Insurance fee

  • Payment method: Insurance premiums are automatically charged to the credit card limit.
  • If the cardholder does not request cancellation before the expiration date display on insurance certification, the insurance package will automatically renew, and the fee will be automatically charged to the credit card according to period of the registered package.
  • In case the cardholder requests to cancel the insurance, the paid insurance premiums will not be refunded. The cardholder will remain insured until the insurance coverage expires

4. Compensation handling process

  • Option 1: Submit a claim directly via the link provided in the Insurance Certificate sent via email.
  • Option 2: Submit a claim via email
    • Step 1: Describe the incident and attach supporting documents, then send them to phongboithuong@fuse.com.vn with the following details:
      • Flight date:
      • Departure – Destination:
      • Scheduled departure time:
      • Check-in time:
      • Description of the incident:
    • Step 2: Provide additional documents as requested by the claims department (if applicable).
    • Step 3: Confirm claim details and update the bank account information for compensation payment.
  • The Insured Person must provide the required documents to the Insurance Company within 30 days from the date of the insured event.
    The required claim documents for each benefit are specified in the Insurance Terms and Conditions table.

5. How to register

Note

  • The insurance coverage takes effect after the premium is successfully recorded in the VIB system and remains valid until one day before the next cycle date.
  • The insurance coverage will automatically terminate if all credit cards have expired, been canceled, incurred overdue debt, or been locked due to violations of the terms and conditions of using the VIB credit card.

(*) At the time of refund assessment, the card insurance must still be valid.
