Privilege for credit cardholder
Cyber Care: is an upgraded version of the Cyber Care Basic insurance package, adding coverage to protect cardholders from risks associated with providing OTP codes and CVV numbers through fraudulent calls, which are becoming increasingly common.
1. Insurance benefits and maximum compensation limit

- The cardholder provides account information, including username, password, and OTP code, on fake websites impersonating the brands of VIB, Vietcombank, Techcombank, BIDV, MB, VPBank, ACB, Agribank, TPBank, VietinBank, WesternUnion, MoneyGram, through electronic communications or phishing emails from financial institutions, leading to electronic fraud. - The cardholder installs malware or accesses fake websites impersonating the brands of VIB, Western Union, MoneyGram, or fake websites of regulatory agencies, resulting in financial loss. - A third party uses malware installed on the cardholder's electronic devices to access identification information, login credentials, and insured accounts of the policyholder, in order to commit payment fraud from the credit card of cardholder at VIB by using this information. - Financial losses of the policyholder arising directly from cardholder providing account information including username, password, credit card number, CVV number, and OTP code during a phone call impersonating a VIB employee. |

- Payment method: Insurance premiums are automatically charged to the credit card limit.
- If the cardholder does not request cancellation before the expiration date display on insurance certification, the insurance package will automatically renew, and the fee will be automatically charged to the credit card according to period of the registered package.
- In case the cardholder requests to cancel the insurance, the paid insurance premiums will not be refunded. The cardholder will remain insured until the insurance coverage expires.
3. Compensation handling process

4. How to register

- The insurance coverage will automatically terminate if all credit cards have expired, been canceled, incurred overdue debt, or been locked due to violations of the terms and conditions of using the VIB credit card.
- Keep a complete record of the details of the fraud that led to the loss of money from the account (including communications with the fraudster, access/download history of applications on electronic devices, etc.).
