VIB provides funding to Domestic Financial Institution to enable them to finance the underlying trade finance transactions using the payment method being UPAS L/C that these institutions have issued at the customers’ request

VIB provides one-off loan or line of credit to domestic financial institutions
The role of VIB is the reimbursement bank and make disbursement directly to the nominated banks’ account or the account of beneficiary as per payment instruction
Disbursement in foreign currency: mad available via SWIFT or other electronic systems in accordance with legal regulations
Disbursement in VND: made available via the interbank payment system
